The Forums have returned!

Topics: ,
Yes, everyone, I have finally revived the Ani-Gamers Forums. The aesthetic of the board has now changed over to our new version 2.0 layout, and you should hopefully find it to be slightly more maneuverable than before.

The most important change to note though, is that I have made registration only by Administrator permission. I really did not want to have to do this, but our Forums have been plagued by spambots almost since their inception. As long as you send me an email after applying and verify that you are indeed human, registration should be a breeze.

Remember, people: Tell your friends about our site and Forums!

Ani-Gamers Version 1.4 Brings World Peace

Topics: , , ,
Get ready for some digital awesome, because Ani-Gamers has just moved up to v1.4. It's a place full of happiness, singing cherubs, and also some new menus and sidebars all over the site. Here's the easy bullet-pointed list:
  • All menus are now organized like the Blog's menus were. Expandable menus for teh loss.
  • Right sidebar has been added to the Blog and Forums. Comes complete with real-time updated "latest" section.
  • Slight changes to Blog and Forums layout.
  • Middle table (containing main content) is now a different color in order to differentiate it from the others and give more focus to the text.
Enjoy.

AniGamers Creates Revolutionary Open-Written System with uWrite

Topics: , , ,
Today, I am proud to announce AniGamers' newest feature, Project uWrite, which allows anyone, from anywhere, to freely post nearly any written content on AniGamers. That means that you now have the ability to post breaking videogame news, a review of your favorite anime, or an article about a trend in nerd culture, to the AniGamers site, where a growing community will read and respond to what you have written. This revolutionary feature makes us the first "open-written" anime and game website ever created.

More details on Project uWrite can be found right here on its main page. The forums have also been updated slightly to accomodate this addition. Though we just had a version update, this one moves us into AniGamers version 1.3. Thank you all for your support, and I hope to see many of our readers using the uWrite system in the future.

The Calendar Actually DOES Something?

Topics: , , ,
Apparently it does!

I've recently updated the funcionality of the Calendar on our InvisonFree Forums, so that now users can post events of all kinds. It's main function will be to remind users of the latest anime and game releases, as well as conventions, board events, and even movies or other things our user might be interested in. Only forum users can post events, but I encourage everyone to join the forums and add to our calendar. And if you're terrified of those forum-account devils, you might as well just check that calendar every so often for the release dates of your favorite anime and games.

Get creative everyone, and I hope you all enjoy our new calendar. There will be a link on the main menu soon that will take you directly to the calendar.

It's Official! Ani-Gamers v1.1 means Blog = News

Topics: , , , , ,
Yep, I've finally decided to take down the poll on Ani-Gamers, and I have made this blog the sole source for news on Ani-Gamers. The main page is now a portal that leads to all of the site's major functions, making it easier than ever to get to your preferred section of the site. Ani-Gamers has finally changed to version 1.1, meaning that the world is infinitely happier for our users. (not quite, but expect that feature in v1.2) Finally, I have added some quick addresses for the blog and forum. You can get to each one directly by typing "http://anigamers.ms11.net/blog" or "http://anigamers.ms11.net/forums". Enjoy your new Ani-Gamers.
